Got this as an early birthday gift from MLW (don't think she could be bothered to wrap it) The tasting glasses are rather neat, they look delicate, but they're quite weighty - my usual rum to drink neat with a cigar is the Zacappa XO and Diplomatico - has anyone tried this one before?

I did. In Germany at the lounge. But I was completely drunk when I did because they always fill me up with rum. I buy more when I'm drunk, lol! So I can't be of much help with this.....

This is a great rum, quite a bananarey (is that a word) aroma if I remember correctly. Delicious, so delicious my wife happened to help herself to it and mix it with coke. Before I knew it was all gone! That and some Zacapa 23......

My favourite rum and one of the only bottles I’ve re-purchased over the years. It’s smooth, rich and the coconut comes through on the palate with a lingering peach aftertaste. Absolutely superb. I also have Zacapa XO, Appleton 21, Diplomatico RE etc, etc but this one tops the lot, both in terms of flavour and value for money.

It’s a lovely rum, the flavours are great - I find I prefer it straight with one small cube of ice, as I find it really brings out that gorgeous sweet coconut flavour on the palette

These are the same guys that do the pineapple rum i think. That is great stuff.
