Guess I am one of the keener coffee & Habanos pairers, I start 90% of all my cigars with a coffee & then move on to beer or whiskey/rum, if it's larger than I can manage with coffee alone.
Very useful to get the most of the cigar's flav's, especially thre lighter ones, never found Havana that wasn't enhanced by coffee. As mentioned by others, good for mornings (I try not to drink alcohol before the sun is over the yardarm) & driving. So fishing &working on the rig, it's usually coffee only. Unless fishing all day, thrn I have one tinnie after lunch.
I also start most of mine with a coffee then a nice refreshing drink to finish it off
What I don't understand though is all the FB posts I see about having an espresso with a cigar. Not sure about you guys, but an espresso lasts me about 3 minutes. What do you have with the rest of the cigar?
Cold espresso is rank and if you have more than 3 you risk the CIBM...like an ICBM but made of turd (Caffeine Induced Bowel Movement versus Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile).

Even an extra hot Cappuccino doesn't last long enough. This one's almost gone.

I think I may finally have this CAD under control...
Wow, a pint of coffee, PJ, your made of stern stuff! I often wish the Belgian cafe's would make larger coffee's, as you can end up with barely a couple mouthfuls.
I take GLewis point though, plently of espresso pics out there, I assume most start with one before movoving on to beer or whisky; I prefer a mug of coffee at the most &then switch it the cigar is still going.
