Drunk this stuff for years Robusto, and eventually sickened myself with it.Collected all of the LE bottlings and then sold them to collectors from the US.

It's funny.

I'm not into alcohol - and that's not because I am strait-laced. It's because I was raised by an out-of-control alcoholic.

(Sorry to post that again, but I know bad experiences in the past raise very cautious alarm bells on drinking for me. And I'm pretty depressed about playing in a number of pubs and clubs in Kent to people who are wankered off their skulls. I had to put up with it yet again on Friday night and I really hate it. I only drink water when we play).

Anyway...

I've started trying different drinks with cigars because of what you folk write on this site.

I've tried different ports (success), Havana Club (success) and now Jack Daniels (success).

A slug of any of these smacks my head into a floating state because I am not used to it so I will tread lightly!

I cannot for the life of me marry a cigar with a good single malt. It confuses my tastebuds completely, and I just 'lose' the cigar taste for a long time. I last tried it with a glass of The Glenlivet - a super whisky, I think, which I enjoy from time to time - but to be honest I could have put my cigar down and abandoned it because I lost the taste of the Partagas totally.

Jack Daniels is alright, though, but I think it's because it has a sweet edge to it, and I like sweet drinks.

My cigars MUST win out in the taste battle, so I shall take my road into alcohol very slowly.

I am very used to being the only person when out who doesn't drink alcohol, and to watch everyone else get merry or pissed. I'm very comfortable with that. I'm not Mary Whitehouse about it.

Ive started drinking these premixed Jack Daniels and Cola cans with my sticks and they are bloody nice too,thinking of trying some of the others like the G&Ts , these work for me as I can take them out with me to my spot without looking like a alkie

Monte PE (just so conistant and much more interesting than the full Edmundo IMHO) outside but undercover with a group of friends and a pint of Star. A few complained about the smell (even though most were on the cigs). The nice girl next to me kept saying tha her hair smelled (made me smell it twice) and she would be thinking of me when she got home! See what happens when my missus stays at home
