Something I have been pairing with cigars recently is absinthe. It's surprisingly complimentary to fuller flavored and fuller bodied cigars.
La Clandestine Swiss blue is a fantastic absinthe to have alongside a Montecristo #2 or a Boliver RC.
On a side note, there is a cigar brand that has introduced an absinthe infused cigar. Alpha Cigar company. I haven't tried it yet but I definitely want to. Although I have never been a fan of infused cigars, so I expect it'll probably taste like shite. Eh, I'm not judging until I have one to smoke.
