I've just checked the instructions I received with the jug and they recommend an 8 hour 'extraction' period.

Had one this morning on the way to work.....I now make a batch Sunday morning ready for today. Blend it with ice and Vanilla syrup. But I am going to try the maple syrup one next time!! Love that stuff.
