Had a few drinks tonight - the weekend has started! A Kernel Chinook/Citra pale ale. Wonderfully bitter with a subtle floral/zest from the Citra hops. Followed that up with 'Bosko Absoluto' from Pressure Drop brewing - 9%, a lot of traditional ale flavours which was a nice change - beers at this strength can often be quite caramel/chewy/booze tasting.
Then a glass of red wine, a Chusclan from Lidl, going by the name 'Serabel'. Very juicy and peppery. Highly recommended and at about ?7 a bottle can't go wrong.
Onto a nightcap - me and Mrs HB finished off the Zacapa we were given as a wedding gift, 2 years ago. Sorry to see the bottle go as its a really lovely drop. Time to buy another, perhaps.
