  • What?s your favourite Christmas fizz?

It is the time of year when we all start looking at what is available for the up & coming Christmas season.

My favourite fizz is Bollinger but if you are looking for something a little inexpensive for Christmas dinner then why not try this beautiful Valdobbiadene Prosecco superiore Docg Extra dry:

It is very light and refreshing with tones of autumn fruits and flowers, it is very smooth on the palate followed by a little dryness, for around ?8-?9 a bottle (or even cheaper if you buy it by the case) I would recommend it to anybody.

What’s your favourite fizz i.e.: champagne, Prosecco or cava?

    Thanks.

    Champagne.
Always goes down nicely over at our camp.
My Dad has a few vintage bottles of Dom P?rignon stashed away that make the occasional appearance

I tend to go with whichever of my favourite champagne is on offer. Tattinger Comtes de Champagne is lovely, it has a lovely musty taste. I like the blue label Monopole by Heidsieck & Co for a cheap bottle.

Another Gosset fan here, in fact it's the only one I like really.

Not much of one for fizz but do like a nice dry sherry on Christmas morn. And hopefully my belgian grand cru will be nicely conditioned, drinking well already so should be excellent by then.

Always champers to startthe day, I used to love Bolli but Krug is rather nice too, just can't afford those these days. However last Christmas our friends served this brand, which htey had collected ona trip to the champange district. Perfectly acceptable - especially in the quantity they served
