-Winter, 0-3 a week. Normally smoking 2+ a day once or twice a week.
-Cuba, 3-7 a day. Normally smoking 3+ a day.
The summer is absolutely horrendous for me. I hate when the weather goes above 27 deg C and I have places to be. The humidity fcks up my cigars and fcks me up, too...
Cuba is different. I have no where to be and the cigars don't need to be cherished as much. Mostly because after 7pm, I can't taste thing...

One for breakfast - whatever small smoke I want - normally a Petit Julieta or whatever they have opened.
One for lunch - preferably a custom rolled cigar.
Maybe one in between.
One for dinner - preferably another custom or something I found that day whilst shopping.
Definitely one after the dinner smoke, too.
It really helps because two times I've been, on the first day, my mate just gives me free Cohiba Robustos he swiped off the table at El Laguito. I have never bought a Cohiba Robusto in my life!Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

Un-irregardless. The things are done a tad differently in Cuba. Perhaps noting our standards and the ideas of factories here, this would be a whip-able (metaphorically) offense.
But in Cuba, things are indeed a tad different. Before they're banded, it really doesn't matter to the roller what happens to the 7 leaves out of 1 000 000 being rolled that day. The only thing that is really accounted for is the daily (weekly, monthly, etc) are the bands because they actually have an imprinted number.
This is shown most at the Custom Roll benches at the LCdH where you can literally trade pants/shirts/shoes for cigars. A tip of a shirt goes much farther than money... But that's a topic for another day.
Point is. Different places, different times.
If you're ever game for a trip to Toronto, let me know and I'll show you around Cuba, Marc . I still know little to nil about the goings-on(relatively) But we'll go with a few seasoned Canucks who really know the place inside out!Last edited by butternutsquashpie; 08-11-2014, 08:10 AM.Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly
