I know for a fact that I dislike peaty whisky, and can't stand Jamiesons.
Looking for about a ?40 or less bottle.
Can I have some suggestions please?

If you don't like peaty whiskies, or smoother and more neutral triple distilled ones (like Jameson), I'd say:
- Balvenie 12: beautifully balanced single malt, goes fabulously with a cigar, after a nice dinner;
- Glenfarclas 12: very sweet, strong sherry presence;
- Highland Park 12: a sweeter one, but also with some saltiness there - a very complete single malt;
- Springbank 10: a more citric and saltier whisky, with some light fruit;
Alternatively, you could also try Glenmorangie 12 (mildly sweet) or even Talisker 12 that, despite having some peatiness, has a strong salty flavor and a very nice kick to it.
Glenfiddich and Glenlivet are also very nice whiskies, but they're generally too fruity for me (until the older expressions), there's not enough wood or sweetness to balance them out.David

It's one of the best spirits I've had, I'll definitely be trying more from Suntory buddy. If you bring any back Id be keen to get some of the others in this Yamazaki range. What's the price like on the 10 year old, the 2010 puncheon and the bourbon barrel?

Bought this great Irish whiskey last week
Had two customers come in and I said to try this whiskey as I found it tip top the guy drunk 9/10ths of the bottle in one session so I am about to finish it off
It was bottled in Oct 14 so didn't last long [emoji1]I highly recommend this whiskey purchased from M of M
Enjoy I am

Best advise is to do as advised before. Search for "drinks by the dram" and pick a selection. That way you're not burdened with a full bottle of it's not to your taste.
