Thought we might just have a thread for what whisky / whiskey we are drinking today etc or just put up nice whisky bottles remember whisk/whiskey includes all bourbons rye malt grain whisky and from all around the world
Tonight I am going to sample a little drop of The Invergordon Single Grain from the Highlands

I did, but others must have had the same idea as when searching everywhere had sold out.

What are people's thoughts on the results? My view has been that with the amount of limited edition and special bottlings coming out of the likes of Bruichladdich, Ardbeg, Macallan etc that it's about time a kick in the back side was needed to be given to the distillers in Scotland. Quality not quantity needs to be the emphasis in my view and that seems to have been lost recently for me

It's funny, I was going to ask what Japanese whisky is like tonight.

It shouldn't be a surprise, a few countries have been producing spirits as good as the best Scotland has to offer for some years now.
