I had a chance to try this at a whisky festival last weekend and it's a really good dram in my opinion. You won't lose either way Banos.Originally posted by ha_banos View PostRight I've almost caned the Sb10.
Bought couple of these secret Speyside bottlings. Not cheap so going to auction one to bring down the price of the other is the plan.... never done this before! If not ... Got a couple bottles of 17 yo Macallan to try!

Yeah, I know what you mean Banos. A lot of the whiskies are going up and up in price now. More and more I'm looking at the independent bottlers for my drams going forward.Originally posted by ha_banos View Post
Same I tried it at AJs a while back. Very nice. But I'm too tight to spend the money it's demanding now.

The one I'm holding is the original version which was discontinued early 2000s I think. I have had a few bottles of the current Cigar Malt Reserve and it's a very nice dram.

Looks really good. Let us know how you like it. I’ve had my eye on a bottle for some time but a bit overweight on Dalmore at the moment so waiting to finish off what I have before adding more

Highly recommend the Murray McDavid Cask Craft range to anyone looking for excellent value, quality whiskies. Only £32 each.

Sorry cask strengthOriginally posted by ha_banos View Post
No. Surely they would say if it was single cask. It's not in the blurb. They also don't say what the age is. Legally all risky must be at least 3 years old IIRC. I'd guess it is mixed cask single malt, older and not so old. But this doesn't take anything away from it. Certainly worth a try.
