Oskihen those two who skies are two of my favourites so far. I've only been at the whisky a short while but if you like those sweet Speysides have you tried the singleton I had last night? It's very nice.
But I don't know. I know I'm leaning towards Speysides but I do like a smokey taste too. I was initially put off peat by the Lagavulin 16 which is very strongly peated. I've since had some softly peated whisky which I got on better with. In an ideal world is have a whisky in the speyside style but with a smokiness without a peaty taste.
I'm definitely going to try it. I've just tried Talisker last night and the peat is far less pronounced that in the Lagavulin. I'm coming round to peat.

It took me a while to come round to the smokey peaty ones as well but I'd probably say they are my favourites now
