I had a bottle a few years back and it was good.

I have a bottle of the Cigar Malt too. A really nice dram. Lots of fruit and caramel.
I will definitely buy another bottle when this one is finished.

A shame because it was so highly regarded at around ?40. I picked up a Glendronach Allardice and a Dalmore 15 instead.
You won't go wrong with those John. Both perfect Christmas drams imo.

    Seconded.

The earlier batches were stellar. I did think the quality was decreasing as the batch numbers (and price?!) rose. The last bottle I had was quite bitter unfortunately. Certainly won't be buying it at the price it is now.

I guess it could be because people buy it up for the batch numbers perhaps?

Whisky is an investment vehicle these days... I expect that means loads of people with money will just plough in [emoji19] https://www.whiskyinvestdirect.com/

Recommend by a whiskey drinking pal who lives in Dublin, I've got a bottle of this arriving tomorrow. Was ?35 on Amazon Prime but they've just bumped the price up by ?7 and removed the prime option [emoji53]
