Adnam's Shop Woodbridge Suffolk

Just been tasting at the Adnam's shop, they do this lovely single malt whisky ImageUploadedByTapatalk1409398017.599486.jpg
This broadside spirit which has a distinctly beery taste with fruity hops, they describe it as more like a brandyImageUploadedByTapatalk1409398099.124328.jpgboth are very tasty.
Also this oak aged vodkaImageUploadedByTapatalk1409398161.484784.jpgthis wasn't on tasting but thought it was interesting enough for a mention.

Interesting looking place and quite good marketing ploy would be interesting to ask them what's the difference between there oak aged vodka and grain whisky.

I'm only guessing but the vodka would be a sugar mash rather than a beer mash. I expect the taste of the vodka would be entirely that of the cask they use. They do an absinthe as well as a range of other products so they're good with the marketing and if I hadn't tried them I'd probably though them all label no substance but both of the drinks I tried were very pleasant.

whaddayaknow i was there 2 weeks ago, in Woodbridge i mean.

It was about ?20 and its nice but very whisky like.
