Picked up 4 bottles of this about a year ago at an auction
wasn't sure what it was but took a chance worst case I would have sold it as a house if it was crap
anyway it's called Lochranza Founders reserve any one clued up yet well anyway bought the lot went to the pub for lunch and googled if came back at over ?100 a bottle at master of malt
for those who want to know its now called the isle of Arran
but the original Lochranza is the place where the distillery is located on the isle
anyway the founders reserve was only available to the people who invested put the seed money up to build the distillery back in the early 90s and they was guaranteed so many cases of the 1st production
well if anyone manages to lay the hands on some more at a reasonable price I highly recommend it it's a blend but is of excellent quality I only now have about 1 1/2 bottle left and friend s and business colleagues have loved it I sold a whole bottle in one night to some French golfer sat ?8 a nip and I picked up the lot for ?50
As you can see they had cellar damaged labels hence the price
