Inchgower 14yr old Flora & Fauna

Yes I've had it, I love all the bottling a from that series. Nice and light and easy to drink. Dangerously so.

I prefer the lighter end of the spectrum compared to the spicy or peated whiskies. im a novice mind and haven't really explored many different distilleries and their offerings, perhaps i might glean some suggestions from you in the future Eggboy

So there i was last night tumbler in hand, and it was filled with a good dose of pale straw coloured Inchgower 14yr old. As I mentioned before I am no expert but I'm always ready to give my opinion to whoever cares for it. I should also add that I never add water to my whisky, I believe in drinking it as it comes.

Body: Light

Nose: Subtle, Vanilla, Tingly, Apples, with Watery Honey always present in the background

Taste: Velvety Smooth Salt breaks over a Sweet Spicy Burst and I can taste a slight whisper of Smoke

Verdict: Over all this is a score for me as I bought this bottle based purely on the fact that it was a Speysider, i had no idea if i would even like it. but like it i do, as mentioned before it is incredibly easy to drink, Soft, Sweet and Tasty. I am a novice and my mouth hasn't had the education it sorely needs to give a proper judgement on this and I feel Inchgower is a good tasty whisky that I'm glad I bought and would buy again but it definitely isn't one that stands out as something special.
