True dat amigo....I struggle to drink any UK-brewed lagers full-stop. I seldom drink anything other than Hoegaarden these days

After years of trying - I think I've found the perfect beer for a cigar

To be honest I don't like Hoegaarden
I think I have said it elsewhere on this forum already I do enjoy German beers, I have very good memories of a night out in Munich at the Hofbrauhaus, even the music there is the best music to get drunk to!
Of course my memories may be seen through rose-tinted glasses as it was the first time I drunk my Dad under the table!! 😄

I know I certainly wouldn't let the stuff anywhere near a cigar, would destroy the experience...
(As you may be able to tell, I'm not exactly the world's biggest Fosters fan... I should probably take a step back and, breathe... Sorry. )
I would say that about 95% of my cigars are accompanied with a Corona though.

I was saying to some Americans a while back how great the food is over there compared to here (well, the good food anyway), and they couldn't have disagreed more.
There's is some unfamiliar German beer that my cousin's room mate (who's official job description is 'Beer Guru') told me was the best he had ever tasted. He was fucking right!!! I just wish I could remember the name of the damn thing.

But i cant lie, the BEST appetiser I've ever had was on the thames: shredded rabbit (cold) on pumpernickel or sourdough (cant remember right now).
Guess it's just the smaller, lesser known, or DIFFERENT foods/beers that makes people like other culture's foods (or hate their own culture's )Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly
