hey all,
for anyone who's interested, my local tescos got in a load of 'legend of kremlin' vodka, ?20 a bottle!! it's at least ?30 a bottle online and in speciality liquor stores (lol)!!! i bought 'er indoors the boxed version last year, so now she knows it's available here, she's opened her bottle to try, she loves it!!! rates it like grey goose...... only better!!! btw, i don't drink the stuff, that's her opinion!!

My wife is Russian and on the occasions we visit her apartment in Moscow, there's nothing better than to pop down to the local supermarket (called Pattersons ?) to by Stoli at ?4.00 a litre ! Or there's Star of Moscow (very tasty) at ?2.50 a litre. Needless to say, our suitcases are well stocked for the return journey to UK but it never seems to last. The problem is, of course, that I continue to drink in the UK as though I was paying Moscow prices. I remember doing the same many years ago with Brazilian cigars bought in the old West Germany - about 10p each over there but unobtainable over here. So much for the EU !!!
