called into tesco tonight for a couple of bottles of beer....... what did i spy? ron zacapa centenario sistema solera 23 rum, ?24!!! only bottle on the shelf, needless to say i bought it!!! it's going away for xmas......

ice!!! lol!!! also, you could do worse than add coke and a slice of lime, cuba libre!!! keep you're eyes peeled in tescos etc for havana club anejo especial, this time of year it's usually around ?12 a bottle!!! also, i tried some appleton estate recently, lovely stuff!!!

sweet! I always thought people drank it in weird concoctions of loads of different ingredients which is what put me off. Only time I ever get onto drinking it was when I was steaming on a night out

Yes. Tesco Princess Ave Southend. They were selling it as End of Line Monk. Picked mine up on Saturday. Same as Alex last bottle on the shelf. Look away from the rest of the Rums, they had it on the bottom shelf at the end of the aisle.

yeah arf, i think it's the end of the line here too!!! not much call for 'premium' rums over here, not while morgan's spiced rum is flying off the shelves........ it's the chavvy halfwit drink of choice here (morgan's spiced rum and either pure orange or cranberry! sounds like a del boy concoction)! come to think of it, there's not much call for anything premium over here!!! when i was in miss moran's here in belfast only last week, i enquired wether they would be getting any cuban EL's in before xmas, the lady owner said they would be getting 'no new cubans in for the foreseeable future'.........
