I enjoy a really good home made espresso with my smoke! But really you can't beat a dark rum

Water with lemon juice for me, just enough of a taste to remove the 'boring it's water' but also cleans the pallet nicely. Having said that my 2 nd choice would be a hot chocolate- especially when smoking outside. Otherwise a cognac or malt ( usually peated)

Looking for Monte Sublimes if you have any?

i rarely smoke a cigar without an alcoholic beverage on hand (whiskey, wine, rum or cognac), but when i do, i usually opt for something strong..... a good nespresso, strong assam or lapsang souschong tea, hot chocolate!! full fat coke, pure orange juice are good choices too.......

I usually go for black coffee, Early Grey tea or plain water depending on the cigar.
If you want a midget to look like a baby, don't put a cigar in his mouth.

Ive bought some Islay 10yr old pure malt that's peated. Ill try it with a CC this weekend Andy, it sounds like a very interesting combination indeed

what is the islay 10yr old your referring to? some heavy peated whiskies tend to overpower the subtle nuances of cuban cigars! however, bruichladdich's 'port charlotte: an turas mor' gets the balance right IMHO! same as bunnahabhain!

btw, connemara single malt peated irish whiskey is cheaper than some of the islay's and just as nice, if not nicer.....

This is the bottle Senor_robusto I was given it a couple of years ago and never got round to drinking any of it.

I do enjoy a hot chocolate with a cigar, but much prefer a good single malt. Maybe I'll get some blended in and put a drop in the hot chocolate?
