Had a job in Norwich today and on my return journey I popped into Englands only Whisky distillery. Situated a few miles South of Norwich in Roudham, NR16 2QW. The conditions there are perfect for producing excellent Whiskies, Norfolk produces the best Malt Barley, under the distillery is an Aquifer supplying much cool crystal clear water and the tempreature in the area means they can mature Whisky much faster than the Highlands .
I bought a bottle of the Chapter 9 which is Peated and smokey. The Chapter 6 is sweeter and unpeated and the Chapter 11 is full Peated , similar to LaPhroaig.
Also Bought some bottles of StPeters Whisky Beer, at slightly chilled this is great with a cigar. Ahh ! also at St Georges Distillery they sell a selection of tubed cigars . If you live anywhere near a visit is wortwhile, they also give tours , I stuck with the sampling !
