Yep. I'd be surprised if the first two are known much outside of Newquay. As far as I know, the Shaky Jake was invented by my mate's sister. It's really good though and deserves wider recognition. The bright green Greedy Bastard is always a hit with the girlies. That's just reminded me of another one: the Greenie Meanie - scotch and creme de menthe. Egg on the other hand is mostly for the texture as you not going to get the same texture as a emulsified egg anywhere els and the chances of getting salmonella are pretty damn low too.
IMO try making them without said ingredients and you'll see what i mean.
