Laphroaig 18 year old

Anyone else tried this whisky yet? If not, then I can thoroughly recommend it! I purchased a bottle from the Laphroaig website over Christmas. Apparently, the 15 year old is being phased out. It really benefits from the extra ageing - don't get me wrong, I love peaty, smokey Islay malts, but everything is just slightly toned down. Goes great with a cigar. I had a dram this evening with a Partagas Serie E No 2. Good match IMHO.

Oddly I thought the 15 was better... dont ask me why as I cant remember! Also I thought the 15 harder to come by than the 18?

On a slightly different (very) note, I can recommend the naked grouse, bit sweet but can see it working well with lighter or sweeter cigars such as hoyo or trinis
