Cellaring tobacco

Any tobacco aficionados on the forum that can advice me on cellaring .
normaly I buy my pipe tobacco in tins to age
my question is can you age pouches as well
or do they dry up eventualy even if the pouches of tobacco are not opened .

Just store it all in a tupperware or scuba box nice and dark and they'll be fine

concerning cellaring unopened pouch tobacco
would the kilner jars with clip down lids be ok got
2 x 1 litre jars yesterday .
was thinking about getting the same size ones with screw down lids but the mouth on the jars are too small be a nightmare squeezing tobacco in them
especially one in trying to pull the pouches out again not very practical unless you ask a child everytime to pull a pouch out that has small hands 😂

yes the jars should be ok but make sure they are airtight. sometimes they aren't. Fill them with water and give them a shake. you will sharp know

i do use the screw top jars for opened tobacco...
i currently have a pouch in a ziplock bag tucked in the bottom of my humidor but shhhh...........don't tell anyone

What size jars screw down lids are you useing for every day rotation the 250ml or the 500ml

I think they will be 250, just a standard jam jar type jobbey. I got these in Wilkinson, got a 12 pack.

Yes they are, i have been in and out of some for well over a year and the tobacco is still spot on.
