I once had a beautiful meerschaum but no longer. ages ago I bought a horrid heap 'meerschaum' from Bay of Ease and yesterday I found it again. its moulded from what must have been ground up clay and IIRC it gets very hot so spoils the flavour. However, its not all bad so I do remember using it. Must buy some more baccy and give it a whirl again.

I would suggest that you won't smoke more overall (as like cigars it is pretty hard to get a nicotine addiction with pipes, in 15 years of pipe smoking I can still 'forget' for long periods of time - weeks or several months etc. - to light up if I'm really busy with work (as like a cigar you need to give yourself the time to enjoy it), but you may find you smoke less cigars if you take to it. It's a slightly different experience and pleasure (cheaper overall too I think), but one that is worth giving a go"The socialism I believe in is everyone working for each other, everyone having a share of the rewards. It's the way I see football, the way I see life"
