Where do folks get their briar from?

I'm hoping to have a go at making my own pipe from scratch but so far have only found pre drilled kits or extortionate pieces from abroad with high delivery costs. Does anyone know of any uk based suppliers?

I get my pipe making parts from ab ebay seller from Greece, Alexander-zavvos, there are a few other sellers in Europe that I haven't tried yet that I can send you details for later. In the meantime you should give pear wood a try, it's not too expensive and fairly easy to work. You can buy it at exotic hardwoods.co.uk
