Hey Everyone,

Due to the very generous gift by Groundhog, I am now an owner of a Meerschaum pipe and various tobacco samples. I tried two so far, teh Hobbits Weed and another one which's name I've forgotten. I liked the second one quite well, but somehow the whole smoking fun is over in like 5 minutes. What am I doing wrong? I felt like I packed the pipe quite full already, but it burned so fast.

Does there need to be resistance in the draw when it's packed right? Can someone give me some guidelines how to do it all properly?

Hey Niels

I'd recomend having a good look at various techniques on YouTube as actually seeing someone pack can be more helpful than a description. There are some very good examples in there. Tobacco preparation too
