Met a BotL today and swapped some leaf. I came away with a selection of aged pipe tobacco. The tins are dated 2004 and 2005. Looking forward to popping one & sampling it.

If you had to choose one shape in the Peterson pipe range which would you go for

but woulden't have the time to smoke a whole bowl full.
Do you fill yours up according to the time you have.
The way I look at it is if the bowl of the pipe is say 2 inches tall and the pipe is usualy packed at say 1 and half inches
the cake will build at 1 and half inches up the bowl the other half inch will be smooth.
