Newb question

I have a decent size meerschaum that i've toyed with smoking down the years.... Mostly things like black cherry. However, i've seen some dinky little pipes recently which makes me think i might like to take on a quick bowl from time to time.

is the answer a small pipe for a quick smoke, or do they burn hot n fast... So simply put less in a normal pipe?

Small pipes smoke a lot faster and get hot very quick, bigger pipes by that i mean thicker bowls give you a better and tastier smoke.

As a pipe smoker of now 11 years I would agree with tony to a point. However with smaller bowls of you just sip away you should be fine. Like any kind of smoking it depends on all sorts of factors. Indoors or outdoors. The wind. The tobacco. The smokers pace and style (and I'm not talking clothes)
