Who uses filters?

As i am new to pipe smoking i am just experimenting whether i like smoking with or without the filter. I really do not find much of a difference during the smoke itself, however after, during cleaning it becomes annoying to have a filter in. From what i gather you are not supposed to remove the stem but you cant get the pipe cleaner past the filter to soak up any moisture. I was figuring seems quite a few of us are just getting into pipes i would ask and see what the other newbies are thinking.

I don't use filters, I pay good money for that smoke and don't want to waste any! [emoji6]

Never used one. However if you smoke a meer it's good to use a screen or crucible style one to stop gurgling.

I take mine out, it's just a consumable item I wouldn't replace anyway.
