Think tobacco for cigars is fairer in my opinion both going to be torched
where swopping pipes for cigars is not, unless the pipe or pipes are not used any more.
Once a cigar is torched it's gone
but a pipe can be enjoyed for many years to come.

I don't see anything unfair about a swap of anything between gents.... So long as they are both happy with the perceived values swapping hands.

I don't see the difference between pipes cigars or a chocolate teapot? A swap of three of my one dollar cigars for a better one then it's a fair deal. I'd be pretty happy if I got certain cigars in trade for my pipe too. Some pipes only cost a couple of quid and I have cigars which are worth ?40.
Unfortunately I never smoked a pipe but Joey G, why not list some cigars for trade to pique some interest. You might want to try asking one of the pipe smokers to trade a starter kit, I know there are some very generous pipe smokers on here.
