I've been reading many pipe-esque threads over the last few weeks and I must say you've all got me very interested. So much, that last week, I popped down to my local tobacconists to price up a corn cob, required accessories and tobacco. I walked out with a corn cob, tamper tool, cleaners and two blends!
Well, I had a few bowls this week, with increasing success in terms of packing, lighting and actually smoking the bugger, but felt unfulfilled by the tobacco. It was a little like smoking erm, not much! Im a full time cigarette smoker in addition to cigars. I've been noting comments on the 'what are you smoking' thread and checking out reviews of various tobaccos on the net. I've been very curious about full flavoured and vitamin N inclined varieties.
Anyhow, take a step back in time to three weeks ago, where I discovered two vintage pipes in a shop window. See where this is going ay? This morning I picked them up and here they are: a couple of unused and boxed Sasieni One Dots
So on the way home, I grabbed a tin of Irish Flake. Whilst having read around enough to know what I might have been getting, I was surprised by the 'slab-ness' of the tobacco, being about 1.5mm thick. I have rubbed some out and plan to have a pop later.
Well you buggers, it's all your fault, leading me down this terrible path of evil imbibing, bwwaahhaaah
Thanks
