Finally got some snuff, from astons of manchester. I got a tub/box of redbull strong snuff they did have some more but I couldnt see what they were from the otherside of the counter.
I tried some it gives you a kick for sure.
The girlfriend does not approve think it looks like I am doing something else lol.
I woke up the other morning with a full blown blocked nose and pressure headache.
I reached for the red bull and within minutes I was breathing easy and the pressure was gone. Coincidently it never came back but the red bull now has a work trouser pocket all to itself... Just in case.

I would say its a similar level, perhaps slightly stronger than the McChrystals.
I have been playing with some Hedges "260 The Snuff" and by eck is that some potent but darn good snuff! If you want a proper kick in the ass though, it's got to be the Bernard Schmelzer..... It's just on another bloody strength level!

Well, the Red Bull now lives in my pocket so naturally it get's used more... I'm really enjoying it, I should probably rotate snuffs so I don't get bored.
While I generally prefer getting a good pinch out of a little tin, for pocket duty the sealable box type is a much better choice. Slightly fidly in the cold, but no major complaints.

I top up a small McChrystals tin each day for pocket use, and seal the larger tin with electrical insulation tape to keep it fresh.
Do you find snuffing in the cold is slightly uncomfortable in the nose compared to warm snuff in a warm nose?
The cold weather presents another problem in that there is a constant brown drip on the nose.
I do tend to do smaller portions more often in the cold. There is certainly a difference though.
I would honestly say my nose is in general cleaner since snuffing, due to blowing it more often and more thoroughly.
I have all but eliminated the dredded drip, I just make extra sure the snuff isn't clumped and do a much more shallow inhale than I had been previously.

Red Bull - haven't the foggiest idea why this is marketed as strong - it certainly doesn't refer to the nicotine content. The menthol is very prominent and does clear the sinuses, though the result is a profusely runny nose, which is good in one sense for clearing out the nose.
The grind is good, being medium, I would say, and the moisture is more oil based than water.
Though not a bad snuff I wouldn't buy it over McChrystals.
I also tried Wilsons of Sharrow Apple - very crap in every respect.
Would one of these snuff makers please make a snuff with some nicotine in it?
This is made for Radford by Poschl because Radford don't have any manufacturing process of their own.
The grind is medium and flavoured with Menthol and other similar herbal essential oils. I can detect a fresh garden mint smell which I really like, giving this snuff a bright fresh note without assaulting the nasal passages.
This will certainly find a permanent place amongst my snuff collection together with McChrystals Original and Poschl's Red Bull.
