I don't use a filter often Shaun, but each to their own [emoji4][emoji1417] There's some that have no filters at all[emoji848]

A new pipe - it's a Missouri Meerschaum, but an Ozark Maple straight. It's really excellent - mild mannered, tactile, a pleasant size and not expensive.

It's a little like holding a chair leg as you're smoking it, but somewhat allegorically, in a good way.

In it is some Gawith Hoggarth No. 7 broken flake, dried out gently overnight and crumbled before packing. It's vaguely aromatic, floral and I'm told a really nice room note.

Really nice room note? Sounds great. I'm yet to smoke any pipe tobacco that gets anything like a positive comment from the other half. Right now it's Owls Head in the Falcon and a cup of joe

It smokes great too The Passatore pipes caught my eye as well but it's not a brand i've heard of and couldn't find any reviews, so decided upon the Falcon

I dont normally swoon over Falcon pipes.... But I could really go for that one ☝, especially with a meer bowl.
