Well, I packed this and corked the pipe for a walk out in the woods with my lads yesterday. However, activities on the Stickman Trail, and diverting nuisance dogs away from the lads (only a couple of times, but did have a verbal exchange with one owner), meant I didn't get time.

Stickman (there was a cool wind[emoji6])

It's a fairly new group, I was invited by a member of the pipe group I'm in. There's a lot of good pipe makers and lots of help too.

Yes, it's a nice group to read through. I'd love to have a go, but just don't have the time (or tolls TBH). I've thought of rusticating or detailing a donor pipe as a quicker alternative. Maybe one day...

All I'm using is a bunch of rasps, files and a coping saw, then sand paper and wet and dry to finish

Made a couple of pipe holders out of an old belt tonight , and started to break in a peterson with early morning

Returned to the pipe this weekend. With something from my local tobacconists called 'Cube' ... was something like Ben Kendals Cube... but cant remember the proper name. Quite sweet with a dose of Latakia in the mix to give it some edge.

Really enjoyed breaking out my meerschaum in the weekend sun, while putting the garden to bed for the winter!
