Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding, it's their own take on an English mixture in a pressed Krumble Kake (the first time I have had a kake).... This is a bloody brilliant pipe tobacco, one of... if not the best I have ever had.

I'm currently alternating between Dunhill London Mixture and Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader. They are mighty fine tobaccos with the SL being perhaps a little softer in taste and through the nose.
I have started spreading the tobacco out on kitchen paper for up to half an hour to let some of the moisture disappear. I dry in enough so that it won't clump together when pinched.
Very much looking forward to a weekend of pipe smoking and drinking with brother-in-law. We will have six tobaccos to choose from and Habana Club 7 rum.

Sounds great! What Tobacco do you have lined up?

Dunhill London Mixture, Standard Mixture, Early Morning, Royal Yacht; Samuel Gawith Squadron Leader, Orlik Golden Sliced, MacBaren Navy Flake and Samuel Gawith1792. Nice!
The MacBaren is a Burley based tobacco and so is quite different to any of the others I listed. I find the Burley based tobaccos lack that 'top' note. I like the NF but have to be in the mood for it.
Orlik GS is a very nice tobacco. It is supplied in big sheets, like huge flakes but a little thinner. At the moment, though, I'm really liking Squadron Leader.
Macbaren NF is nothing like HH old fired - It's way way lighter and has virginia and even alledgedly some cavendish in it. If the old fired vibe is your thing try Revor plug that really is old and fired!
