Well, since buying a pipe i haven't touched a cigar (although have been tempted a few times), absolutely love it and it is great to keep topping up on the nicotine without having to smoke a whole cigar!
Took me a while to find a 'cigar' like baccy but finally did it! Petersons Irish flake a great smoke! (need a pipe smiley!) ...also Irish Oak is very nice!

After taking a long break from smoking while getting over the man-flu, today I had a delicious bowl of McCraines Red Ribbon from the 1983 crop in a Stanwell 126 (a horn shape with plateaux rim). Smooth and rich and wonderful smoke. Tomorrow...I think I'll have another go in one of my own pipes.www.larryssonpipes.comsigpic

Dunhill Elizabethan - Virginia base with 5% perique. The perique adds a slight tang and a little spice to the tobacco, and increases the nicotine a little. Burns a little wet but nothing a pipe cleaner pushed down the stem can't deal with. The flavour is full and a little stronger than straight Virginia. A tobacco I enjoy but do prefer Dunhill Flake.
