CIV - I've had the one that's 2nd from the right and thought it was an ok smoke...I was quite pissed and it was my third of the evening so that might have had something to do with it. It was just airy pepper though....not horrible by any means but lacking......
What is a padr?n?
? Padr?n - a list of all the people who live in a certain town
? Empadronarse - the act of registering yourself on this list with your local town hall,
Or maybe something else? :-)
Opus X was one of the first NCs I tried and I thought overall it was alright, I bought a couple back from the states a year ago and have one left in the humi.
Cant bring myself to smoke it now simply because they are so pricey, good or bad I feel I have got a little piece of history.
+1. If you're going to spend ?20 on one stick make sure it's Cuban....a Sir Winston for instance....yum

I have to agree with senor steviethecheap on this one - Padron's top line sticks are a bit pricey, but so are the best Habanos! And as el Perro so elegantly put it in an earlier post, my Padron Series 1926 80th Anniversary sticks rest side by side with my finest puros on the top shelf of my humidor.

Hey TJ! Don't forget to mention the super fine 2005 God of Fire Double Robustos by Carlito that also share the top shelf - Mmm, Mmm Good!.

Had one Opus X years ago in the states, don't know which one but remember it being, well, pleasant. Quite strong and spicey but no special flavours, and what I find in virtually anything NC, the flavours didn't change, no 1st 2nd 3rd 1/3 simply one pleasant flavour that might have got a bit spicier towards the end and that's it... So overall ok but a bit dissapointing, and expensive!
Bit late in on this one, but the post above sums it up for me too. I've had some '06 sitting in the humi for a couple of years now. Smoked one about 18months ago and wasn't overly impressed either. Shame.
I smoked the Fuente Lost City Toro recently and it was a delicious cigar. They are very difficult to find and probably muchos $$ but definitely a top shelf cigar...

Senor Eddie, A. Fuente makes some pretty good sticks! Try the God of Fire by Carlito sometimes....Pure Heaven!
