I was off work today and the sun was shining so I cut the grass and decided it was time for a cigar.
I spent a few minutes opening the humidor, lifting a cigar, closing the humidor, deciding on a different cigar, opening the humidor etc before finally deciding on a Xikar HC Series Churchill Colorado. I had one as part of a NC sampler pack and thought what the hell - even though I have been pretty scathing about NCs in the past.
So I settled down in the sunshine and lit her up. And what a pleasant surprise it was!
I don't have the descriptive power for a proper review but let me just say -
Wrapper was thick and dark and perfect with a pigtailed cap, it and facilitated a perfect burn the whole way down the stick. Flavor medium to strong and smooth and perfectly complemented the chocolate shake I had along with it. It really was a good cigar and one of those ones that makes you feel a little sad to see it die
Anyone else tried this range?
