Bloody hell Shucks , ive been looking for those for a long time lol. I love Tats after Mike introduced me to them, been on the hunt for a few. You know the right people lol.
Hey Shuckins, I met Marvin Chang last year when in Hawaii on honeymoon, a real great guy, think the store he runs is called R. Field Wine Company. I walked into another cigar store looking for Tats and he was in there with a couple of guys smoking cigars and having lunch. Because the store had no cigars I was interested in, Marvin finished his lunch quickly and drove me and the Mrs to his store to hook me up, sorted me out with Tatuaje Nollas, La Riqueza, Tatuaje Cojonu 2009 and El Triunfador (the oringinal blend - wish I had bought more of those) and was happy to spend time chatting and advising. After that he drove us back into the centre on Honolulu back to our hotel, well beyond the call of duty in my opinion.
I smoked one of the original blends of El Triunfador in a lancero last weekend, it was great, I'm raging I only bought three, wish I could get another half a dozen or so of the original blend in lancero.
I'm I correct in saying that the T110 is a cigar/blend specially made for Hawaii? Marvin had those too but unfortunately I didn't pick any up, probably because I was already struggling to carry what I had .
Big T, check out the Tatuaje Cojonu 2009, I think you might like that one too. Glad to see more people are discovering how good the Tatuaje and Pete Johnson's other brands are, pitty it's quite difficult to get hold of the harder brands, especially Pete Johnson's Monster series, really hard to get. I got a couple of the Tat Black tubos when in New York last year, haven't tried one yet tho.
Been following this thread. I have heard good things about these tat cigars myself. I bought a sampler from a guy on another forum over the weekend and it arrived today. He sent a couple extras one of them is a tat! Has a brown band and same size as a lusi. Hope its an experience like T had. It sure looks and smells the part. No doubt about that.
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had brotherly love, they had 500 years of democracy and peace, and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock!"
Here are a couple of pics. After a little looking online I have concluded that this cigar is a miami taino....double coroa size. I have a 3 hour drive tomorrow evening. I will smoke it down and let ya know how it was! I'm telling ya though the pics don't do it justice. It smells amazing.
You try different things in order to experience what life has to offer . I have never been 1 to stay wrapped in a comfort zone .Kind of being 1 dimensional and if I ever get to that point life would be a boar !
