What is it about NCs that makes them (generally) a lot harder to light than a Cuban?

I've not found this. A quick jolt from a turbo flame sure sorts anything out

I've got a double turbo flame and still find NCs don't take a light as well as Cubans

This does seem strange to me too. I regularly enjoy NC's and have found no issues at all in lighting them up. Certainly no harder than CC's

Don't know whether there's any truth in it, but once heard that NC's do better kept in lower RH than CC's.
If this is the case it may have a bearing on how easy they light if they are being kept at a higher than optimal RH.
Warning. The previous may all be bullshit, but what I was told once anyway.

            I find that extremely odd.

Personally, I've never had trouble lighting any cigar:

I keep mine at 65% and never seem to have problems lighting NC's. I smoke a lot more NC's than cubans too

It's not so much that I have problems, it's just that I find a few goes around a Cuban with my torch gets it lit but an NC takes probably twice as long. Perhaps I should specify that I only ever light cigars without puffing on them? I torch and blow until the whole foot is lit, then puff.

Maybe, you need a torch lighter like Rokkitman has!

I don't notice any significant difference in lighting between the two either.

A good benchmark for NCs imo.
