I got yer nub right here, senor Kmart!

But I agree with one point....the high-end, high price A. Fuentes should be a bit more consistent, IMO

Regarding the NuBs....I had two so far and I must say I'm not a fan....yet!

Well then, seeing as how this thread has become scientific in its precision and objectivity, I think I will do some experimenting of my own and grab myself a couple of these here Fuentes. Good luck with your vajayjays.

I finally got my hands on a Hemingway, a Best Seller, and sat down to have a smoke. I must say, this is a fantastic smoke. In terms of the construction and burn, it was absolutely perfect. I ashed once or twice, but didn't need to, really, and the burn line was perfect, as was the construction of the beautifully shaped perfecto.

As for the flavor, read on. It began as a sweet, nutty flavor that only got richer and deeper as the cigar progressed. I've heard it described as leathery and full of cedar, which sounds about right. It's not quite as salty as a Mag 48, but it reminded me of that a bit. I would describe the overall flavor profile as a sort of umame flavor--very tasty but not overpowering. There's no pepper here, or only a hint in the last third, which makes for lighter fare perfect for a nice, warm afternoon in the sun as I read the Rolling Stone's article on Exile on Main St.'s new master (which is fantastic, by the way [the album, not the article]). An excellent hour spent, all told.

I'll be getting more of these Best Sellers, particularly at a little over six bucks a stick. Highly recommended.

Haven't wanted to touch the remaster. For me so much of that album is about the atmosphere and KR's haze, remastering I think will kill that.

I hear you, though I think they avoided the issue. The back story is interesting--Jagger is not a big fan of the album, but Richards, obviously, is. Richards was in charge of the original album's remastering and pretty told the dudes to not mess with what was already what it should be, so it's not pristine like the new Beatles remasters are. The bonus tracks, on the other hand, were under Jagger's purview, and these are distinctly clearer (and less interesting, save for their historical import).

In my opinion, the Hemingways are good too.More on the sweeter side for my tastes though.

Thanks for the remaster info, I may consider and give it a go. Found the Beatles remasters un-listenable.

I quite liked them, especially the Mono, so maybe you won't dig the Stones remaster. What didn't you like about them?
