I will have to stick with the general consensus and go with a line with some range to it. That being said it would be a toss up between Rocky Patel and the often overlooked Perdomos.

Both range from mild to full and have great blends that would meet any mood. Slight preference to the Rocky's right now but I've been smoking them for the last few days...might need to light up a Perdomo today

A Gurkha fan ! There are a lot of folks in the US that bad mouth that brand . WHY?????????? I've smoked my share and think it all depends on how they are stored , handled and smoked . A pretty remarkable cigar company with a great track record. Its good for folks like us that people bad mouth them cause they can be had

I am shocked to see this too on the forum. Gurkhas are generally a good smoke. I think they get a bad rap because many people over pay for them. If you get them for the right price, they are a good smoke.

Yea I don't understand why Gurkha's have such a bad rep, I was even hesitant to admit that I like them because of that. They can be pricey, but if you know where to go you can get them pretty cheap though.

The Gurkha brand has always been hit or miss for me. I love the Legends, Signature 101 Maduros, Class Regent and the Centurian. But I have had bad luck with the Double Maduros being plugged to no end.

Definitely worth the coin when bought on auction or special deal but not worth the outrageous MSRP

I herf with a guy that scored two Gurkha His Majesty Reserves (MSRP $750 each ) in an make your own 12 pack special from an online retailer. Bought two 12 stick samplers at $50 each. Which made is HMRs $4.17 each. They noticed the mistake and took them off the site but still honored his purchase. Now that's what I call a deal!

I agree the way to get them is on auctions MSRP on most is too much. Two HMR's for that much, talk about deal of a life time!
