Tried my first Pedromo Habana Maduro Robusto tonight, courtesy of Boss. Not sure if these are Dominican or Nicaraguan, but this is a very nice smoke indeed.
Nicely veined Maduro wrapper and smelt of woody spiciness pre ignition. On lighting it smoked well with strong spiciness on the first two thirds of the cigar.
Strength wise, it was up there with the likes of a Cuban Partagas IMO, but there was none of the harshness which I sometimes associate with the stronger Dominican smokes.
First class smoke IMO, and it is for sure a smoke which I would like to keep in my own humi (if I had any room).
This would be a great after dinner smoke due to its strength and consistancy. One of the top five NC smokes I have been lucky enough to try this year.
First class choice by the Boss man.Cheers again mate.
