My son is currently on holiday in the US and has asked me for suggestions of what to buy. I think the only NC's I've had are a couple of Olivia's and a few Davidoff. Any suggestions for him to look out for?
I would look out for
Arturo Fuente Work of Art short but cracking smoke.
Rocky Patel 1999 Vintage - reflects what you drink with it
Alec Bradley Prensado - Churchills are my favourite - The Toro are good too!
Bespoke Grand Cafe lancero - blind you would swear they were Cuban
Arturo Fuente - Lost City - really anything by Fuente is worth it.....
JSK Red Knight - Lancero is my tipple - I have a box winging its way...
I am sure others with much more experience than me, will be along to give some great recommendations

Like the lad mentioned in the above quote, anything from the A. Fuente Hemingway or Don Carlos lines (short story, work of art, etc.). And on the upper end, Lost City (as mentioned above) or God of Fire. These are among the best NCs in today’s market, in me humble opinion.
Now, if you are interested in an excellent “value stick” and a favorite of don TJ, check out the A. Fuente 858 line. Comes in natural, maduro and Claro and is easy on the wallet, if you get me drift.
Names Boy, Bag Boy, and I cut me teeth on NCs south of the border.

As you know, I rarely smoke NC's so am not best positioned to give such advice but recently had a very decent one & I'd back Vitola's comments, 'special JSK Red Knight - Lancero is my tipple - I have a box winging its way...'
