This may be a stupid question but as I typically only smoke robusto or larger, I'm interested. Does, for example, a Partagas D6 have the 'flavour' profile of the latter two-thirds of a D4?

Not in my opinion Anz. If you enjoy Partagas the D6 is good when time, to enjoy a smoke, is tight.

I picked up a pack of Don Lino Africa's cigars in the state a few years back, which I paid 25 dollars for 10 which are around 60x3.5 which were surprisingly good for the price. Never seen any since anywhere though.

Not a major fan of the larger ring gauge cigars but seem the be the rage at the states.
