hey just looking to try out a few new world cigars, I have only had an Alec Bradley punk before and it was good. I didn't want to put this on cass2017 thread, although they are quite similar, because they seemed to have an idea of what they were looking for ( region, length, ring gauge). this is more open just recommend any new world cigar or brand not sure whether I should put a price limit on this. I do look at new world cigars as a cheaper option to cuban and yes I realise I'm going to take a lot of heat for saying that on here

I have had a limited foray into NC's - however, i have now had 5 of the Drew Estate Undercrown Shade Robusto's and each one has been a fantastic smoke; the construction fine tuned, and really a lot of flavours (nuts, cream - which is typically Connecticut wrapper, however it also had some pepper and wood going on in there as well). Really find them to be reasonably priced for the quality of the smoke. I am seriously considering getting a box - something i thought i would reserve just for CC'sOnly the impossible is worth the effort.

ah cheers the only real problem there is the price, I mean you can decent cuban for that. I would probably rather do that, which isn't giving the nc a fair shake I know. Will try something from them though and if they are that good work my way up

Hi Newbie,
There is nothing wrong with NCs. They are better value for money, but also have flavours you don't get in CC. That said, CCs have flavour profiles that NCs won't produce.
So it is just a matter of variety.
I would recomment "La Aroma de Carribe", "Drew Estate" and "Brick House" for a start.
