Recent order from Cgars Ltd- Juliany Reserve, Leon Jimenes

So my most recent purchase from Cgars ltd and to add to my growing collection of New World Cigars was a tin of 10 handmade Juliany Reserve cigars a petite corojo at 4" and a ring gauge of 30 this is lovely looking small cigar.

Haven't had the pleasure yet but has a delightful hay barley smell on the nose.

As for the Leon Jimenes I ordered a box of 10 vanilla petite corona, handmade at the La Aurora factory I normally stay away from flavoured cigars however having tried a La Aurora Pirncipe Cherry and enjoy a aromatic smoke and after reading several reviews figured this was probably up my alley. The Cigars come in lovely wooden box and the smell very faintly of vanilla with almost the way some pipe tobacco's smell or a Mehari Sweet orient, the cigar itself is also 4" with a ring gauge of 38 so on the smaller side,Once I have tried these I will post a review.

I've only tried one flavoured cigar , a Vasco de gamma, as a curio from my local walk in Robert Graham, was meant to be rum but it wasn't anything really but a long mild smoke. At ?8 can't expect much

Most Flavoured Cigars I have tried in the past have been awful, they have a lovely nose but that doesn't translate into flavour and they tend to go harsh. Also most tend to be machine made as well, these were suggested by a friend of mine who described it more of a mild aromatic than flavoured and one that should be enjoyed slowly.

The flavour is then supposed to remain and not get a harsh edge to it, being as this is La Aurora Cigar I am willing to give it ago which I will be doing tomorrow evening. I have my team meeting and my manager and I always go for a pint or two afterwards and she is a recent Cigar convert, who is trying coming away from the machine made supermarket stuff, after I introduced her to a Monte Purito. So she was quite eager to give this a try and once I get back tomorrow evening I will post my review.

RP Java mint - It's like smoking an after eight...... No harshness, just flavour. They also do a latte and maduro, but I haven't tried those.
