  • Building a sampler of NC's

So, i dont smoke too often, and so when i do so I tend to want to smoke something quality, reliable, enjoyable and with some complexity. I tend to favour medium bodied, or more robust sticks with age on them so they are calmer and more mellow without losing character

i'd welcome your thoughts on what you'd put in a ten stick sampler. Now, i have Nubs covered (and am a big fan) and not long bought a box of Oliva Series V Melanio Robustos, so no need to recommend them. Single stick or multiples reccomendations welcome! Cheers all

              Recently smoked (and enjoyed):

              Arturo Fuente Short Story Cameroon,

Drew Estate Liga Privada Undercrown Corona.

These are two that I'm considering keeping in the humi as regulars, and def intending to try other vitola of the Drew Estate LP.

Tatuaje J21 Reserva, would maybe explore other Tatuaje stuff

Four Kicks corona gorda's again would smoke other Four Kicks stuff

                      Tatuaje Black Label Corona Gorda
                      Regius Black Label Corona
AF Short Stories are great, especially the Maduro one dimensional though
La Aurora Cien Anos Maduro Edicion Especial - My favourite stick
                      AJ Fernandez New World Connecticut
AJ Fernandez New World - I need to try another one, I think it was too strong for me.

One dimensional is a phrase you often here quoted here but if a cigar tastes good does that matter. Do you need you coffee to change flavour mid cup or your bar of chocolate? For small cigars it really isn't an issue.

Not a problem for me, most of my favourite smokes don't change a lot while I smoke them. I just thought I'd highlight it as the original request was for NCs with some complexity.
