Arturo Fuente Short Story - what next?

I've smoked 3 of these now and the last 2 I really enjoyed so will be keeping a stock at home. My question is where do I go from here in the world of NCC's? Any recommendations from fans of the Short Story are appreciated...

Maybe the Shark Anejo Reserva? Not a cheap stick, but a really good NC. I've certainly enjoyed the ones I've had...

Now there's a good question, I'm also fond of a short story, bought a box earlier this year, but not found many other NC's that I like. I've got a number of sampler sections waiting to be tried. I'll be following this thread with interest.

Depends what you're after. The maduro short stories are fantastic too.
Had some Arturo Fuente double chateau recently, both normal and maduro and they were very good.
NUBs are solid in maduro, Habano, connecticut and Cameroon wrappers. AJ Fern?ndez New World line is good, as is his enclave. A lot of people are still raving about the Oliva V Melanio. Yet to have one though the Os and Gs were good....where to stop....

You could try a Padron 2000 or Oliva Serie V double robusto perhaps? Both nice smokes.

I would like to get a new world AJ Fernandez toro heard a lot of good things about this,but cant seem to get my hands on one do they sell them in the uk?

I tried to do my homework on which smoke to try next when I first started.
I found that, with CC's, they were pretty much all great smokes apart from the odd construction issue.
When it came to the NC side of things, I decided to just close my eyes and pick up anything that was
available at any given time in the store, or what I fancied trying from online retailers. I found that I was
having much more enjoyment this way even discovering the smokes that were poor or even awful. It all
adds to the learning curve for me so I would say just dive in and try anything.

I have to say I think you'll enjoy that. The Serie V Melanio double toro I had the other evening was great! It was certainly stronger than I expected, but that made it all the more enjoyable to be honest.

If you like the short story then all the others in the AF Hemingway line are worth a punt.
The AF anejo line are excellent - aged in old rum barrels, which gives a unique taste.

Can't really go wrong with anything by Arturo Fuente

Half the fun with NCs is figuring out what you like
